business, talent, innovation, entrepreneurship and diversity. However, the COVID-19 pandemic further
exposed the structural inequalities that exist and the pandemic continues to have an effect on the
capital’s recovery.
Diverse founders and business owners in specific sectors experience
severe setbacks when starting a business, including facing additional barriers when accessing
business support, which as a result compromises their ability to grow robust and scalable
businesses.
Recognising the disproportionate effects of the pandemic on certain groups, the
Amplify Venture programme has been designed specifically to address the challenges that founders are
currently facing including access to finance, business support, contracts, and networks.
If you’re a diverse
or underserved founder based who meets the following criteria, Amplify Venture is for you. Business
must be:
- Registered and/or trading in London
- Have been trading for at least 18 months

Have generated at least £50K in revenue since the business started trading
- Have at least 2
staff members (FT or PT, as PAYE or consultants)
